Stretch marks are a great source of worry to especially women even though the condition affects both genders.
They are scars formed as a result of the contraction and expansion of the skin due to childbirth, extraordinary weight gain, muscle building, genetic disorders etc. It is not a disease.

1. Castor Oil
Castor oil is used for the treatment of skin conditions like moles, pimples, dark spots, wrinkles. To fight stretch marks with Castor oil, apply it directly on the affected area and massage it in a circular motion for 10-15 minutes. After that, wrap the area with a thin and clean cotton cloth and then apply heat with the help of a heating pad or hot water bottle. Do this for 30 minutes each day for one month and you’ll notice the fading of your stretch marks.
2. Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is known to be the most effective remedy for various skin problems. To use Aloe Vera to combat stretch marks, apply it directly on the affected area, leave it on for some few minutes and then wash it with lukewarm water. Do this daily and you’ll notice results in no time.
3. Egg Whites
Egg white is rich in protein and amino acid and that makes it a very great product for the treatment of stretch marks. To do this, extract the egg whites of two or more eggs into a bowl. Once you’ve done that, whip it with a fork until you get a smooth mix. Then wash the affected area with clean water and apply a thick layer of the egg white to the place using a brush. Let the egg white dry off completely on the skin before you wash it off with clean water. Do this daily.
4. Lemon Juice
The acid in lemon juice makes it a great source of treatment for stretch marks, pimples, scars etc. Extract the juice from some lemons and massage it gently on the affected area in a circular motion for 10-15 minutes. After that, clean the affected area with warm water. Do this daily.
We know you’re surprised but it’s true. Sugar is one of the best home remedies for stretch marks because it’s a natural exfoliant for the skin. To do this, extract some drops of little lemon juice and almond juice into a bowl and add a teaspoon of sugar and mix it together. Now, apply the mixture by rubbing it directly on the stretch marks for 5-10 minutes before washing it off. Do this for a month and watch your stretch marks fade away.
6. Potato Juice
Potato juice promotes growth and restoration of skin cells because it’s very rich in minerals and vitamins. To do this, cut a medium-sized potato into thick slices and then rub them on the affected area for some minutes. 10. Glycerine and Lemon
Glycerine is good for moisturising the skin and lemon also contains citric acid which is an antioxidant. Put them together and you have a solution that’ll not only reduce your stretch marks but will help moisturise your skin. To do this, cut your lemon and drop 2-3 drops of glycerine on it, then rub the lemon gently on the skin. Do this twice daily and you’ll notice your stretch marks fading.
