Egypt’s Stoke City winger Ramadan Sobhi downplays hamstring scare ahead of Ghana clash

Egypt starlet Ramadan Sobhi has played down the severity of his injury he picked up playing for Stoke City on Saturday, assuring he will be fit for this week’s crucial 2018 World Cup qualifier against Ghana.

The winger hurting a hamstring on his first English Premier League start for the Potters as they drew 1-1 at West Ham.

Sobhi was substituted six minutes from time and was replaced by Senegal’s Mame Biram Diouf.

The 19-year-old has been in top form since moving from local giants Al Ahly.

Egypt will start camping today (Monday) to prepare for the 13 November date at the Borg El-Arab Stadium in Alexandria.
