Anderlecht star Frank Acheampong could have made a €7.5m transfer deal to English Premier League side Hull City in January according to reports in Belgium.
Acheampong has been in consistent form for the Belgium giants and has been influential to their progress in the Europa League and the local league as well.
According to dhnet.be, a top Belgian website, the Ghanaian could have moved to The Tigers three months ago for the reported fee as he was seen as a good material for their Premier League campaign.
But it is rumoured that the Black Stars winger could make the move in June following reports that he is unhappy at Anderlecht currently.
The decision to stop from making the move in January proved worthwhile, as he was the defining factor in the Europa League round of 16 against Zenit Saint Petersburg, scoring both goals in the first leg (2-0). And in the return against Apoel, he scored the only goal.
