Serie A giants AS Roma and Inter Milan are set to battle out for the signature of Juventus and Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah, according to reports in Italy.
Asamoah, who is left with four months to the end of his contract with Italian champions Juventus, was reported to have turned down a contract renewal, putting Roma and Inter Milan on red alert with the prospect of acquiring his signature.
The 29-year-old can leave the Bianconeri for free in the summer when his contract with the club expires in June.
Turkish side Galatasary who have been long-term admirers of the Ghanaian still remains his most likely destination if he decides to leave the Turin-based club in the summer, however Milan and Roma are preparing their own offense in ‘Operation sign Kwadwo Asamoah’.
Several other English outfits are also assessing the Asamoah situation as his availability in the summer transfer window becomes increasingly likely.
