Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has been named in Arsenal’s starting XI against Rapid Wien in the Europa League on Thursday.
The 27-year-old gets his chance to impress on his full debut after he cameo in the side’s 1-0 defeat at Manchester City at the weekend.
The Ghana international has been drafted into the starting XI by manager Mikel Arteta against the Austrian side at the Allianz Stadion.
Partey joined the Gunners in a massive 50 million Euro move from Atletico Madrid and is expected to be key for the English side this term.
Mikel Arteta’s Gunners secured Europa qualification thanks to victory in last season’s FA Cup final, having only finished eighth in the Premier League.
Under Unai Emery, the north Londoners reached the Europa final in 2019 but crashed out at the round-of-32 last season in dramatic fashion against Olympiacos.
