Ghanaian youngster Brian Brobbey included in Ajax squad for Atalanta UCL tie

Budding Ghanaian forward Brian Brobbey has been named in Ajax Amsterdam’s final squad for the UEFA Champions League clash against Atalanta on Tuesday.

Brobbey has been in superb form for in the Eerste League for Jong Ajax, hitting 5 goals in 8 matches.

The 18-year-old’s distinctive performance prompted coach Erik ten Hag to draft him into the senior for the crunch Champions League encounter against Atalanta in Bergamo.

He scored 26 goals in 24 games for the U17 team and also netted 37 goals in 41 games for the U19 side.

Brobbey has 12 goals in 24 games to his credit at the Ajax U23s.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Kudus as expected missed out on the trip to Italy after sustaining an injury in the opening fixture against Liverpool last week.
