Fit-again Jordan Ayew came off the bench for Crystal Palace in the loss against Wolves in the Premier League on Friday.
Ayew had been sidelined with Coronavirus since returning from international duty with Ghana about a fortnight ago.
The striker consequently missed the Eagles’ 1-1 draw against Brighton and Hove Albion at home as well as the 2-1 away victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage last weekend.
He recovered in time for the 2-0 defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Selhurst Park on Friday.
Ayew came on the 72nd minute for Andros Townsend but couldn’t do anything to cancel Ati Nouri and Podence’s first half goals for Wolves who have now moved up to third on the log.
He has been named by C.K Akonnor as part of the Ghana squad that will face Sudan in the double header of 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
