German-born forward Jamie Leweling has been handed a maiden call-up to the Black Stars ahead of next month 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sudan.
The youngster has decided to pledge his international future to the West African country despite been available to play for the European powerhouse.
The 19-year old plays in the Bundesliga II for SpVgg Greuther Fürth and has made five appearances in the ongoing campaign for his side.
Jamie Leweling is the only debutant in the squad named by Ghana coach Akonnor for the 2021 AFCON qualifier next month.
