Former Hearts of Oak midfielder Masawudu Alhassan Suleiman has been shot dead in Libya during trials.

Suleiman was in the North African country for trials ahead of a potential move but met his untimely death.

The unfortunate news has been confirmed on Monday with friends and sympathizers mourning with his family.

Information gathered from a family member of Masawudu Alhassan Suleiman has disclosed that he was found dead by some citizens.

He previously also played for Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League with his stints with Hearts of Oak coming during the 2012/2013 campaign.
