Follow all the action live as Southampton host Arsenal in the FA Cup fourth round at St Mary’s this afternoon.
Arsenal have seen a significant uplift in their form since then, though, with five wins in their last six games. They did still require extra-time to defeat Newcastle in the third round, with Emile Smith Rowe coming off the bench to save the Gunners’ blushes. However, their league fixture against the Magpies earlier this week ended in rather more emphatic fashion, with a 3-0 victory and two goals for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang likely to provide a notable boost in confidence. 87 mins: Shane Long is on for Danny Ings and he carries the ball into the box. He comes together with Holding and Long goes down looking for a penalty that he doesn’t get. Southampton do win a corner though that they try and keep in the corner.

84 mins: Arsenal wins a free kick on the right edge of the Southampton penalty area. Pepe and Willian are over the dead ball. It’s Pepe who takes it and he curls the ball up and over the goal.

81 mins: Off the line! Almost an equaliser for the Gunnners as they play Pepe into the box. He takes it to the left but is charged down by Forster in goal. The ball rebounds to Nketiah, I think, and his shot is cleared off the line by James Ward-Prowse.
