Super Bowl: Who is performing the national anthem and when is it?

This year’s Super Bowl is expected to feature a variety of musical performances, with The Weeknd taking the stage during half-time and Miley Cyrus performing ahead of kick-off.

The duo’s performance will take place just before the Super Bowl begins, which is set for 6.30pm ET, with a performance by HER of America the Beautiful also set to precede the big game.

The decision to combine the two artists is unique considering their backgrounds, with Sullivan known for being an R&B singer while Church is a country singer.

The duet will also mark only the second time the national anthem has been performed by two singers during the Super Bowl.

In addition to Church, Sullivan and HER, Warren “Wawa” Snipe, a deaf rapper, will also be performing both songs in American Sign Language during the pre-game festivities.
